Solar incentives in Málaga

Málaga has a dedicated municipal procedure for its solar IBI reduction and a substantial ICIO reduction for qualifying self-consumption photovoltaic installations.

A 15% reduction in the full IBI charge for up to three years, subject to an annual cap and an application.

Maximum duration: 3 years

Deadline: Apply before 1 February for the reduction to take effect that year, within the maximum period following installation.

Cap: The annual reduction cannot exceed 33% of the total installation cost.
